The State Grain Bureau issued a notice on Dec. 29 on the postpone of the subsidized procurement of spring-planted rapeseeds to the end of Feb., 2010. The subsidy will be distributed to crushing mills before May 15 at a standard of the crusher’s capacity during 180 days.
BOABC considers that the policy may give an impetus to farmers in rapeseed production. Nevertheless, due to the small proportion of spring-planted rapeseeds in total rapeseed production, the policy has a limited impact on the market.
