According to the State Grain Bureau, procurement of grains in major production provinces totaled 16.667 million MT by Nov. 20, of which 9.182 million MT were procured by state grain companies, 4.579 million MT and 3.021 million MT less than the same period of last year. The state grain companies’ procurement accounted for 55.09% of the nation’s total, 2.35% less than the same period of last year.
