The Ministry of Industry & Information has recently urged melamine producers to step up melamine production and sale management. Producers are prohibited to market melamine under other companies’ brands, a measure to prevent the sale of melamine to feed or dairy industry. New melamine complexes must be based on existing synthetic ammonium, urea, ABC or sodium carbonate complexes. Coal consumption must be controlled below 1,200kg and urea consumption below 3,200kg for each ton of melamine.
