The fertilizer industry accomplished fixed assets investment plan valuing RMB8.21 billion in Nov., down 23.6% from the month before but up 46% on the year-on-year basis. The phosphorus industry completed RMB1.36 billion investment plan, exceeding both the month before and the same period of the previous year. The nitrogen, potassium and compound fertilizer industries completed RMB2.97 billion, RMB160 million and RMB2.38 billion investment plans in Nov. respectively, up 39%, 10% and 21.5% respectively on the year-on-year basis.

94 new projects were put under construction and 120 completed in Nov., 23 and 18 more than the same period of the previous year respectively. The new projects consisted of 23 nitrogen projects, 17 phosphorus projects, 2 potassium projects and 30 compound fertilizer projects. The completed projects consisted of 21 nitrogen projects, 13 phosphorus projects, 6 potassium projects and 38 compound fertilizer projects.

Between Jan. and Nov., the fertilizer industry completed an investment plan valuing RMB84.45 billion, an increase of 26.9% on the year-on-year basis. Specifically, investment added 0.2% in the nitrogen industry, more than 30% in the phosphorus, potassium and compound fertilizer industries respectively and 120% in the organic fertilizer industry. In the meantime, 1,252 new projects were put under construction and 777 completed, 35.6% and 87.7% more than the same period of the previous year respectively.
