China’s planted cotton acreage, production and yield are estimated to be 5.468 million ha., 7.247 million MT and 1.33 MT/ha. this year, down 8.31%, down 6.83% but up 1.25% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Cotton production and yield are 187,000 MT and 0.02 MT/ha. less than our previous estimates respectively.
